A Christmas I Will Always Remember

It was this year that I really remembered the TRUE meaning of Christmas. God knew how to humble me and I'm thankful. Within a year, I went from being able to buy whatever I want for myself and my kids to not being able to buy anything and I still give God all the glory, honor and praise. With few gifts under our tree, this Christmas still feels like any other Christmas. Through any situation, I give God all the praise because he deserves it. It's not about gifts and all that expensive stuff, it's about the birth of Jesus Christ. I've always known that but never would've put it in context as I have this year if I had not been in the financial situation I'm in.

Needless to say, things have slowly started to turn around for me. I've been in my storm and now starting to see my rainbow and slowly starting to reap the benefits God promised me.

To all my readers, fans, family and friends, have a safe and Merry Christmas.

Makeva J.

Love; set it free and if it comes back

People often say if it's meant to be, set it free and if it comes back, it was always yours to begin with. What does this mean to you? If your highschool soulmate made presence in your life after you have been broken up for at least five years, what would you do? Given the situation that you're single. How would you handle it? We would like to know your thoughts.

Friends or Lovers

You have been friends with someone for a long period of time, and since day one you have always liked him/her to be more than friends but you never said anything about it. Years have passed and your feelings have not waivered. What do you do? Do you remain friends or do you tell the person how you feel? Why?

Soulja Boy Arrested in Atlanta

In McDonough, Georgia, Police state that rapper Soulja Boy was arrested for Obstruction; a Misdemeanor. Officers of the Henry County Police Department arrived at the location in response to complaints of individuals having what appeared to be a party in the backyard of a vacant home. Upon the Police's arrival, most of the individuals fled the scene including DeAndre Cortez Way (pictured above). The rapper later returned to get his vehicle and told police that a video shoot was being conducted at the vacant home.

If this were true about the video shoot, why did everyone flee the scene? Hmmm...sounds fishy to me. :-/

Obama Awarded Nobel Peace Prize

President Barack Obama awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to strengthen the cooperation/relationship between International Diplomacy and peoples. Below is what the committe stated about another great achievement.
“He has created a new international climate. We are awarding Obama for what he has done. Many other people and leaders and nations have to respond in a positive way.”
Chairman Thorbjorn Jagland added, “We are not awarding the prize for what may happen in the future but for what he has done in the previous year. We would hope this will enhance what he is trying to do.”
Hats off to Obama! Great job!

Breaking News: NASA blowing up the Moon...WTH!

According to CNN, NASA is sending a missile to the moon in search of water. Why are they searching for water? What's the point? What if something goes wrong? I'm not too sure NASA should be screwing with the moon. They are going to far!

Dear NASA, leave well off alone. What are your thoughts?

Mitrice Richardson; Is it a race factor?

According to news reports, 24-year-old, African-American Female, Mitrice Richardson of Los Angeles was intoxicated and unable to pay her $89 bill at Geoffrey's Restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu around 10pm on Thursday. Sheriff's deputies took her to the Malibu-Lost Hills station where they booked her on suspicion of not paying for the meal and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Shortly after, they let her go around 1:25 a.m. on Friday morning citing jail overcrowding. She has yet to be seen and her whereabouts are unknown.

Had she been Caucasian, do you think the situation would have been handled the way it was and would the police still be searching for her?
